keyword search
A search of WEB PAGES, an application database, or the database used by a SEARCH ENGINE for documents that contain a number of KEYWORDS. These keywords are often written with BOOLEAN CONNECTIVES separating them. For example, the keyword search ‘Java AND compiler’ looks for all those documents or records which contain the keywords ‘Java’ and ‘compiler’.
